Thanks Lyn, for bringing this to my attention!
Here is the sermon “When the Lion Roars” aka “When the Lord Roars” the link to which did not work on Wordview Weekend.
Click on the above link from Pastor Chuck Herring’s home church Collierville Batpist and scroll to the sermon entitled “When the Lord Roars” and click play. Allow for time to load and a Vimeo version should appear. This is a very important message, and yes, Lyn, you may have viewed it someplace before.
I like Wordview Weekend, but in order to finance the ministry, the videos are sometimes available for all to see for a few days, then moved over into “members-only” section. Brannon Howse sent the link to me in his newsletter, and I am a member of his “members-only” situation room, but cannot disseminate the material. Access on Pastor Colliers’ site, however, is free. It’s also available on Itunes for free under “podcast” near the bottom of the page at this link: http://www.a.youversion.com/events/126180

There are some things in the Christian life that are “a given” and yet being so elementary, we so easily lose sight of them. If all else fails, change your perspective. Feeling like you are out of options? If you don’t like something about your life, and you can’t change it, then change your thinking. Take your mind off your troubles: Think about someone else for a change! As Christians we live in an ungodly world. But little good it does to commiserate that fact. Remember these words of Jesus?: “I pray not that thou shouldst take them from the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil”. Jesus didn’t pray for us to be spared from life’s troubles, but rather He prayed ” That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:21). In other words: “None of us liveth to himself”. (Romans 14:7) As John Wesley said:
“Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.”
The kindest, most generous and loving thing we can do for anyone is to give them the gospel. If you don’t remember anything else, if you don’t accomplish anything else, share the gospel.

The Gospel In A Nutshell
Pastor Mike Hoggard of Bethel Church in Festus, MO is the pastor who does the Watchman Video Broadcasts that I have posted in the blog from time to time. His church is small but their ministry is far-reaching. His friend Pastor Reg Kelly, also has a far-reaching ministry, and both of these pastors filled the gap for our own family via online sermons, while we were searching for a solid local church that adheres to the old paths and the King James Bible. Pastor Kelly is preacching revival at Pastor Hoggard’s church this week. To hear an excellent sermon on the sovereignty of God by Pastor Kelly click HERE.
Reg Kelly is a present day old-fashioned humble country preacher out of Norwood, Missouri. He knows the Word and preaches it unapologetically. WARNING: Put on your steel-toed shoes! He doesn’t hold back!
