(Jed Morey) The manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspects offered the nation a window into the stunning military-style capabilities of our local law enforcement agencies.
For the past 30 years, police departments throughout the United States have benefitted from the government’s largesse in the form of military weaponry and training, incentives offered in the ongoing “War on Drugs.” For the average citizen watching events such as the intense pursuit of the Tsarnaev brothers on television, it would be difficult to discern between fully outfitted police SWAT teams and the military.
The lines blurred even further Monday as a new dynamic was introduced to the militarization of domestic law enforcement. By making a few subtle changes to a regulation in the U.S. Code titled“Defense Support of Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies” the military has quietly granted itself the ability to police the streets without obtaining prior local or state consent, upending a precedent that has been in place for more than two centuries[....]

Obama to Announce Major US Nuclear Force Cuts Soon
Get used to it, because this is what he will spend the rest of his time in office doing! Interesting timing since we are expecting a “weather event” that they are calling a once-in-a-century strom, “Frakenstorm”, expected to cause a minimum of $5Billion in damage. How can this be predicted. I am suspicious of the hype. Not that people shouldn’t be prepared, but it’s almost like the ability to shock people with the actual news, as horrific as that sometimes is, has worn off, and now they have resorted to “what if” scenarios and are making them as extreme as their imaginations can conjure up.
Here’s a thought. What if guys like Alex Jones are on the government payroll for the purpose of fometing paranoia and outrage, thus creating a problem where none is, and giving the government the excuse to do what it wants to do anyway? (Martial Law?) Talk about your psy-ops and “mass hypnosis”. It gets to the point that you can’t afford to trust anyone. Is that the whole point?

On Oct. 26, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands the role and scope of Homeland Security in states and areas across the country. This order, which establishes a new Security Partnership Council, will have far reaching effects in the overall mission of Homeland Security, and for state and local areas that interact with the Federal agency.
Economically, the Establishing the White House Homeland Security Partnership Council Executive Order will increase funding and resources to state and local governments to fulfill Homeland Security programs and doctrines, as well as increase Federal oversight in the implementation of directives tied to the agencies mission.
The purpose of this order is to maximize the Federal Government’s ability to develop local partnerships in the United States to support homeland security priorities. Partnerships are collaborative working relationships in which the goals, structure, and roles and responsibilities of the relationships are mutually determined.
There is established a White House Homeland Security Partnership Council (Council) to foster local partnerships — between the Federal Government and the private sector, nongovernmental organizations, foundations, community-based organizations, and State, local, tribal, and territorial government and law enforcement — to address homeland security challenges.
Sec. 3. Mission and Function of the Council and Steering Committee
(ii) promote homeland security priorities and opportunities for collaboration between Federal Government field offices and State, local, tribal, and territorial stakeholders;

Since it’s creation in 2001 from the aftermath of 9/11, the Department of Homeland Security has expanded its authority over states, communities, and law enforcement each year. From expanding TSA responsibilities over airport transportation to now include trains, subways, and even highway checkpoints, to new regulations in how border control agents function in immigration conflicts, Homeland Security is one of the fastest growing government agencies in the past decade.
Through creating a new Steering Committee in partnership with how Homeland Security missions, directives, and programs are implemented in state and local levels, the fine line between state sovereignty and the need protect the country from disaster and terror attacks is becoming smaller every day. Over the past few years Homeland Security grants to local law enforcement have led to a militarization of police and public safety, and new drone technology is being used in criminal investigations outside the scope of national security.
In a little more than a decade, the Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with its underlying and partnering Federal agencies, have infiltrated nearly every community in America. This new Executive Order, which expands the scope of the agency and gives it greater power in state and local partnerships, will mean greater loss of freedoms and liberties to both the states and citizens as the Federal government imposes greater authority over what should remain state sovereignty scope and missions.
I would love to at least be able to call it a draw, but alas!
If I knew absolutely nothing about either man, and came to last nights debate seeing both for the first time ever, I would say Obama was very Presidential and and Romney floundered. Obama was controlled, and ”take charge” lst night. He was clearly angry when his record was challenged regarding loss of life in the Benghazi attack, but it played very differently in this debate than last time. Last time Obama came off as petulent, clearly miffed that Romney had the upper hand, but last night I saw a convincing display of Obama’s passion as he took issue with Romney’s suggestion that the Obama camp played politics in greeting the caskets at Andrews Air Force Base. That moment was decisive! It was a “now the gloves come off” moment.
Obama did not seem to run over his time very often, and seemed to do a lot less talking over the moderator, until Mitt had done it so long and so often that even when Obama did resort to it, it almost came off as “responsible” on his part, a move necessary to restore order to what was supposed to be an orderly discourse, and was disintegrating.
All in all Obama projected a sense of his being confident in his responses, whereas Mitt tended to run on, restating the same points repeatedly several times. Romney was playing safe by hammering the same points that he so masterfully made in the last debate, (a little stale when re-heated) and the negativity seemed much more on Romeny’s part last night than Obama’s. That came off as self-restraint on Obama’s part and went in Obama’s favor. It is a fine line to walk, and both campaigns use negativity, but Obama just came off looking like “the bigger man” last night while Romney overplayed that hand.
Romney was as quick-on-his feet as ever, but as Obama pointed out, he brought nothing new, and few specifics.
Sadly, American’s are suckers for charisma and charm, which Obama forgot to bring with him to the first debate, but brought it last night, in spades!
Sorry, foks, I have to call Obama the winner as well.
I do not collect this information and post about it in order to frighten anyone. Just to raise awareness of what is taking place. The many people and sites that report on these issues, all have their own opinions and theories about all of these things, why they are happening, and what should or can be done about it, but please keep in mind, the perspective that I come from is that the Scriptures tell us that nations who turn away from God become subject to His judgment. America has turned her back on God officially as a nation under Barack Obama, but also subtly and gradually for years prior to that.
Scripture also tells us that a period of great tribulation is going to come to this world, in which governments will fall, and power regions will shift, eventually dividing the world into 10 regions or kindoms, and then ultimately a single world leader will arise. As long as America is free and peaceful and strong, and remains a superpower, this cannot happen, thus America will fall. I believe in a pre-tribulational rapture, however I do not believe we as Americans can assume that rapture will come before any of these troubling things happen here in the US. Therefore it is important for us to study the scriptures, and be very aware of what is going on in our country and the world. Israel is the timepiece to watch. It so happens, of course right now, that Israel is teetring on the verge of war, and is essentially friendless among nations of the world. This is a milestone indicator of the nearness of the tribulation hour. I share this video and these documents, and all of the news stories I link to in the blog, so that you know these things are truly happening.
Special Agents visit boy’s home to ask about school project

In another shocking example of how the federal government is repositioning itself as a secret police force to target political dissidents, a 16-year-old boy was questioned by FBI agents over a You Tube video he created for a school project which highlighted how America was slipping into a police state.
The video clip above, which promotes the presidential campaign of Congressman Ron Paul, was put together by Justin Hallman as part of a project for his American Government class. The video helped earn Hallman an A+ pass and his teacher enthused about how impressed he was with Hallman’s efforts.
The video touches on a number of issues, including the National Defense Authorization Act, evidence suggesting the Republican caucus in Maine was fixed to disenfranchise Ron Paul, the hacktivist group Anonymous, military drills taking place in American cities, as well as eviscerations of the right to free speech.
About a month later, Hallman was shocked to receive a knock on the door of his family’s home from two FBI agents, including Special Agent Matthew Bowman. Hallman provided us with images of Bowman’s FBI card which he left at the property when Hallman decided not to answer the door.
When Hallman’s mother called the number on the card she was told by Bowman, “We need to talk to your son.
The two FBI agents returned to the house and began to talk to Hallman about his interests and hobbies, a tactic Hallman saw as the FBI agents attempting to gain his trust.
The FBI agents then attempted to recruit Hallman to spy on Anonymous. “They wanted me to be an informant, to possibly put my life in danger, to help them arrest and gain intel on occupy protesters and hackers,” he writes.
The agents then began to question Hallman about his support for Ron Paul’s presidential campaign as well as a conversation he had conducted with his teacher about the Illuminati secret society.
“They also asked me why I had talked to my teacher about the Illuminati,” writes Hallman. “I told them it was just harmless talk about the 1776 Illuminati that formed from the enlightenment era. I said my teacher said they are/were terrorists and not to talk about them (this caused the FBI agents to look puzzled and they changed the subject very fast to Anonymous). In the end they finally left for an “important meeting.”
The fact that the FBI men knew about Hallman’s conversation with his teacher clearly suggests that it was the teacher or another official at the school who reported Hallman to the FBI in the first place.
Hallman concluded his email by expressing concern the incident could hamper his future career prospects.
“So that’s my story, a teen from the suburbs who was questioned by the FBI about a harmless free speech protected video I made for school. My record forever scarred with the truth that the FBI questioned me. When getting a job they will see that, when getting a passport they will see that, when going to college they will see that,” he writes.
This case represents merely the latest example of Americans being questioned, harassed and intimidated by different branches of the federal government over their political beliefs.
Last month former Marine Brandon Raub was kidnapped by authorities and held in a psychiatric ward for political posts made on Facebook, just one of thousands of similar ongoing cases. Gun owners are also having their firearms confiscated having been declared “mentally defective” due to their political beliefs.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
This whole idea of “pre-crime” investigation, the DHS and other agencies trying to “predict” possible crime, is an over-reach of power, and amounts to nothing more than harassment and bullying by an increasingly tyrranical government. America is becoming a police state. This type of behavior on the part of our government and law enforcement has no place in the U.S. If you have watched other videos posted on my blog, you know that this type of thing can no longer be viewed as isolated incidents. Police officers, military folks, veterans, what will be your response if ordered to do something like this, or if something like this is done to you? Do you know your rights, the rights of all citizens? Which is the higher law? The order of your C.O. or the US Constitution? It might be a good idea to give it some thought now, because the likelihood of your being put in this position is growing.
